Workshop organised on Financial Awareness Program in association with BSE Institute 

With the commitment to provide the students an integrated learning experience, Department of Commerce had organised a visit to BSE Institute (Investor service centre), New Delhi office on March 27, 2019 to attend the "Investor's Awareness Program". Mr. Harbinder Singh, Regional Manager, BSE, provided deeper insights in an interactive session addressing the role of stock exchanges in the economy, overview of the stock market ecosystem. The most interesting part of the session for the students dealt with the virtual trading in different asset classes (Equity, Currency and Commodity Derivatives) on the BSE online trading platform BOLT. The visit proved to be very informative and fruitful for the students, as the students were not only exposed to the theoretical concepts but also to the various career opportunities related to the stock market.
