Department of Electronics, Sri Aurobindo College in association with Brain Mentors Private Limited organized a 10 Days (20 Hours) Add-On Course on “Python Programming” from 26th September 2022 to 4th October 2022.

The topic  was selected  keeping in mind its inclusion as a  compulsory core course for the upcoming batch of 1st year BSc. ( H) Electronics students after syllabus revision under  NEP. It was decided to give the 2nd and 3rd year students the opportunity to take up this “add-on course”. The course was open for all the students at the college so that they build a solid foundation and enhance their internship and employment opportunities.

The Add-On Course was carried out in online mode and ZOOM platform was used for the same. Daily sessions were of around 2 hours to 2 hours and 30 minutes. The instructor Mr. Ravikant who has an expertise in Python Programming, carried out the sessions with utmost zeal and enthusiasm. He was loved and appreciated by all the participants for his way of teaching.

More than 30 students registered for the course. It included students from different streams. The students took the course despite their daily busy offline schedule.

 To boost the enthusiasm and morale of the students, our respected Principal sir addressed the students on the inaugural day and on the concluding day of the Add-on Course. Assessments and feedback were taken from participants on a  daily basis. Exhaustive feedback was taken on the concluding day of the Course. The certificates for successful completion of the course will be provided once assessments are over.

In all the event was a huge success with good student feedback and enquiries for many  such add on courses.
