The Commerce Department organized one day industrial visit to National Small Industries Corporation (NSIC), Okhla, to attend the “Entrepreneurship Orientation Programme” on 31/10/2018. A total of 67 students along with 3 faculty members attended the same. Students were familiarised with various small scale industrial projects like pet bottle making, biscuit making, paper cutting, tissue paper making, etc. at the Incubator’s centre for Small Enterprise Establishment. Two training lectures were also given by the faculty of NSIC highlighting the importance of entrepreneurship in a developing country like India along with providing necessary information about the training programmes available at the corporation that can impart practical knowledge and training to the budding entrepreneurs. Students were also provided certificates for attending this one day entrepreneurship orientation programme. The visit proved to be very informative and fruitful for the students and the faculty members.
