SAMVEDNA’19
Gender Sensitization Forum had organized its annual fest “SAMVEDNA’19” on the theme: “Section 377: Give Dignity Have Dignity” on 27th February 2019 with the aim of sensitizing the students. The festival commenced with an inaugural session by the lightning of lamp and inspirational words of Dr. Vipin Aggarwal, Principal Sri Aurobindo College; Dr. Suman Khanna Aggarwal, President Santi Sahyog; Mr. Waris Masih, Journalist & Social Activist; Mr. Akassh K. Aggarwal, LGBTQ Rights Activist and Mr. S.S. Ahluwalia, Advocate Supreme Court.
An equal number of intellectually enticing and fun events were held during the fest such as Bol Tez Bol: Open mic competition; 377PIXELS: Photography Competition; Lights Camera Action: Short Movie Making. All the events witnessed vigorous participation of students from various colleges. Winners were awarded with some exciting cash prizes.
