Diversification, innovations and applications of mathematics in other streams are the mission of the department. The major areas in the department are: Pure Mathematics: Analysis, Abstract Algebra, Field Theory
Applied Mathematics: Differential Equations, Numerical Analysis, Mathematical Analysis
The Department has spacious two laboratories equipped with necessary instruments, software and computers.
