From a relatively modest beginning with a three year B.Sc. (Hons) in Electronics in late eighties the Department of Electronics in Sri Aurobindo College has come a long way and is currently the most prestigious and premier Science Department of the college. Diversification, focused growth and consolidation has been the steadfast mission of the department. Today the department is implementing the National Education Policy and is having a four year UG program in Electronics. It is located on the second floor of the main Block. It has spacious, state of the art four teaching laboratories fully equipped with modern instruments and computers. It continues to bring good results with position holders in the University.
