Training and Placement Cell

‘As knowledge grows up, Light flames up from within’- Sri Aurobindo.

The Training and Placement Cell of Sri Aurobindo College is continuously working towards inculcating the principles of Sri Aurobindo. The cell has following goals:

To develop different skills in our students at the undergraduate level,

To bring mass recruiters as well as product-based companies,

To provide placement & internship opportunities for each & every student of our college.

The cell regularly organizes workshops, seminars and job fairs to achieve the above goals. During the session 2021-22, following events were organized by the cell:

NEEV- Job and Internship Fair

The Training and Placement Cell of Sri Aurobindo College successfully organised its first Job and internship fair- ‘NEEV’ on April 18, 2022. Students got a golden chance to appear for interviews in 29 companies including the names like Tata, Decathlon, Paytm, NIIT, YTech Raj LLP, Trucknetic, Byjus, Rakhi- The learning App, The Leprosy Mission, ICICI Prudential, RE, Viral Fission, Eigopaathshala, Chegg, Shoperty, Onourem, Coral Knowledge Services Private Limited, Ten Marketing, Geetanjali Homestate, The Blue Beans, Athena Executive Search and Consulting, Upgrad, Eat My News, Niteouts, Kcglobed, Adda247. An overwhelming response from the students was received. More than 1000 students across University of Delhi and various other universities registered for the same. Around 315 students appeared for the interviews and applied for 1435 job and internship positions. The data for the selected candidates is being compiled.





Interactive Session with Mr. Alok Bansal- Career Counsellor

The ‘Training & Placement Cell’ of Sri Aurobindo College, under the Aegis of IQAC, organized a live and interactive session with renowned speaker and career counsellor, Mr. Alok Bansal. The interaction was organized on 11th February, 2022 at 11:00 AM on ZOOM Platform. It presented an opportunity to the students of the college to grow their career prospects. The students were motivated towards achieving personal and professional development by Mr. Alok Bansal by his inspiring interaction. He answered many questions which were asked by the students. More than 200 students participated and were inspired by our renowned speaker. The event was of a great help for the students and was a great success.





GROW

Get Ready for Opportunities at Work.

Training and Placement Cell, Sri Aurobindo College, organised a 5-day student development workshop called ‘Grow’ from 17th January 2022 to 21st January 2022, to guide the students towards a better future in their professional careers. The workshop was addressed by nine prominent speakers including Ms. Saumya Gupta, Ms. Shruti Dandekar, Mr. Mani Makkar, Mr. Shobhit Jindal, Ms. Gowri Ram, Ms. Paramjeet, Mr. Raunak Agarwal, Mr. Aswini Bajaj and Dr. Shivani Sharma. These speakers were motivational experts, soft skills trainer and career coach. The 5 day workshop covered a wide spectrum of topics ranging from “Solving Case Studies’, ‘Entrepreneurship and Finding Happiness’, Career Planning and Interview Tips, CAT Preparation Strategy, and Resume Writing to ‘How to present ourselves in an Interview’, ‘Soft Skills’, ‘Civil Services as Career’, and ‘Emotional Intelligence and Tackling Post Covid Employability’. The workshop was attended by more than 100 participants. The workshop was indeed a great success.
