The subject of Political Science has been taught in our college ever since its inception in 1972. The Department has sincere and dedicated faculty having vast and rich research/teaching experience, which provide in depth knowledge of the subject to the students. Various papers of the Political Science give a solid foundation to the students for their future, higher studies and prospective carriers like IAS, Law, Journalism, Management etc. The Department also organises seminars related to politics.

Many of the faculty members are involved in various projects at university, national and international level. Free legal advice to PWDs (Persons with Disability) is also given by faculty member.
