The Commerce Association of Sri Aurobindo College, Aakraya, kickstart it's year long journey with a one day event on the most important essence of life, Happiness- "DAASTAN-e-MUSKURAHAT"! The stage was set open by the encouraging words of the honorable Principal, Dr. Vipin Kumar Aggarwal, and the cultural performance by Taleem- classical music society of the college.

Increasing the happiness index of everybody was the stellar performance by our special guest- Dr. Praveen Shukla, the most reputed poet of humor and satire in India. He enthrilled the audience with his humourous poetries, and positive words. The performance not only made the audience laugh their heart out, but enriched them with various important lessons of life- on failure, struggle, and the art of finding happiness which is spread all around us.

This was followed by the welcoming of the Commerce Batch of 2019-22. The most awaited day was filled with many fun events and activities involving student-teacher interface, and a contest between the first year students.

Freshers showcased their talent and grabbed catchy titles linked to the the theme of the day. GarimanKalra of B.com was adjudged as Shenshah-e-Muskurahat, and Shreya of B.com grasped malikay-e-muskurahat. The runners up awards were taken over by Aanchal and Kanishk. 

The event came to an end with distribution of awards to the winners, and distributing the badges to the new office bearers of Aakraya- as a symbol of appreciation and handing over of the responsibility for the future events.
