Educational Visit by Department of Zoology on March 28^th, 2022

An education trip to Dept. of Geology North Campus Delhi University was organized on 28^th March 2022 for the students of 2nd year B.Sc.(L.S.) Life Sciences, Department of Zoology, Sri Aurobindo College, University of Delhi under the guidance of Dr KamalJeet Dabas and the accompanying faculty members Dr. Vivek Negi and Mr. Om Prakash Singh.

Here the students were familiarized with evolution of life and gallery which depicts evolution in all the following Eon’s with reference to biogeographic conditions. The students learnt that the organisms since Cambrian period showed diversification in association with a greater contemporary Mass-extinction which is in consistent with the theory that speciation and extinction are driven by same suits of traits and common geography.
