29 April 2022 was an eventful day at Sri Aurobindo College Lawns.  The campus buzzed with women Kabbadi players from Delhi University. Thanks to our Principal sir who initiates and welcomes all events in the college. Sir, felicitated the renowned guests and encouraged the teams with his presence. Mr. Niranjan Singh (AKIF President) graced the occasion as chief guest and Mr. Manjeet Chillar (Arjuna Awardee) was the Guest of Honour for the occasion. The occasion was joined by Referees- Mr. Ajeet Kumar, Mr. Ranveer Singh and Mr. Ujjwal Singh. 

The event was made possible by Dr. Susheel (our DP) with his constant dedication and effort.

Six teams participated in all.

They were Sri Aurobindo College, Laxmi Bai College, Shyama Prasad Mukherjee College, Aditi Mahavidyalaya, Kalindi College and Daulat Ram College. Our girls deserve special acknowledgement for their terrific achievement. They were the winners of the Kabaddi Tournament. Laxmi Bai College stood second followed by Shyama Prasad Mukherjee and Aditi Mahavidyalaya who shared the third prize. 

Last but definitely not the least all the teachers and admin staff who were present did add charm by their presence as audience.
