The commerce department had organised visits to Securities and Exchange Board of India on March 21, 2017 and March 23, 2017 to attend the "Investor's Awareness Program" in their New Delhi office. The workshop was conducted by the manager of the Northern Regional Office, Delhi who discussed a wide array of topics like rules and regulations under SEBI Act, working in securities markets, various initiatives taken by SEBI fore empowering investors, , investor protection and grievance redressal mechanism etc. the various career opportunities in the securities markets were also highlighted. the workshop proved to be very informative and fruitful for the students.
