ORIENTATION DAY-JULY 20, 2018

Sri Aurobindo College organised its Orientation programme for the newly inducted students of humanities, commerce and science stream on July 20, 2018. Dr. Vipin Aggarwal, the Principal of the college welcomed all the first year students and emphasized the importance of years spent in college with his slogan of “Five years vs 55”. Dr. Aggarwal highlighted the differences between school and college life and the need for self-discipline and self-regulation in college.

Teachers-in-charge of different departments of the college introduced the students to the course structure, marking pattern, attendance criteria and career avenues associated with their discipline. Heads of various cultural societies of the college such as Dance, Dramatics, Music etc also interacted with the students and encouraged them to participate actively in the cultural life of the college.At the end of the orientation programme, the students were served refreshments and given small gifts on behalf of the college.
