Sri Aurobindo College organized NSS Festival on 27^th September, 2018. The event began with lamp-lighting ceremony. Sh. Sanjay Mishra, Chairman, Governing Body, preceded over the program as Chief Guest. Shedding light on the theme of “Cleanliness as Service”, Dr. Vipin Aggarwal, Principal of Sri Aurobindo College argued that cleanliness complements our efforts to serve society. Therefore, we must devote our energies in creating pollution-free and clean environment. Dr. Aggarwal reminded the audience for their moral responsibilities to spread awareness about cleanliness campaign.

Introducing Gandhian thoughts to audience, he emphasized that cleanliness is possible only when people look after the country with the same devotion and spirits as they look after their homes. Various activities such as Debate, Rangoli, Poster Making, and Article-Writing were part of the programme and students from different colleges competed for attractive prices. A Nukkad Natak was performed by the college students followed by a plantation drive.
