Beti_3.0 Event

The event, Beti_3.0 was initiated by the Rotaract Club of Sri Aurobindo College on National Girl Child Day on 24^th January, 2019. The programme was supported by Paakhi-Women Empowerment Cell, Gender Sensatisation Forum, Taleem-The Music Society, Prithvi-The society for Environment and the NSS unit. It was celebrated to promote the girls position in the society and make their living better.  The aim of the 2019 event was to make aware the common people on gender equality. It started with a flash dance mob to draw attention of the crowd, followed by street play performed by the Salvation team of the college at Vishwavidyala Metro Station, Delhi. The occasion was concluded by cyclothon and walkathon. The programme was a grand success as volunteers of the above mentioned societies and students participated in huge numbers with enthusiasm.
