Excellent Location and Connectivity: The college boasts a vibrant atmosphere and is conveniently located, making it easily accessible. Students from all corners of the city can reach the campus effortlessly, thanks to its proximity to the Malviya Nagar Metro station. Supportive Faculty and Staff: Both the teaching and non-teaching staff at Sri Aurobindo College are exceptionally supportive. They cater to the needs of all students without any form of discrimination, creating an inclusive and welcoming environment. Cultural Diversity: The college serves as a melting pot of diverse cultures, with students from all parts of the country—North, South, North-East, and West—enrolled in various courses. Personally, I had the opportunity to make many friends from different backgrounds, which enriched my cultural exposure through my time at Sri Aurobindo College. Outstanding Physics Department: During my time, the faculty of the Physics department, in particular, were incredibly supportive and served as excellent mentors. Prof Poonam Jain and Prof Yogesh Kumar stood out as some of the best mentors I could have asked for during my college years.

I am Dr. Piyush (MSc, NET-JRF, GATE, PhD), and it is my pleasure to provide feedback about Sri Aurobindo College (SAC) in Malviya Nagar, Delhi. I completed my BSc. Honours in Physics from the Department of Physics at SAC in 2016. The faculty in the Department of Physics were incredibly supportive, not only in teaching but also in assisting students with their emotional and financial challenges.
I vividly remember arriving in Delhi from Rewari, Haryana, in 2013, for admissions to SAC. I was anxious about managing the admissions process and adjusting to a new environment. However, the administrative and Physics staff were extremely helpful and guided me through all the necessary procedures.
I would like to extend special thanks to the technical staff of the Physics department. They were always available to assist students during their experiments. Diwakar Sir and Yudhveer Sir were especially helpful, ensuring I had all the equipment and components needed for my experiments.
The teaching faculty did an excellent job of explaining complex Physics concepts, which greatly helped me succeed in competitive examinations such as NET-JRF and GATE. Dr. Poonam Jain and Dr. Yogesh Kumar have been incredibly supportive, helping me with various challenges from my graduation days until now. And The campus is well-maintained with decent classrooms, a library stocked with diverse books, a computer lab, and a science lab equipped for practical sessions. The sports facilities are commendable, providing students with opportunities for both indoor and outdoor games. The college has a vibrant culture with numerous societies and clubs catering to different interests, like drama, debate, music, and dance. Cultural fests and events are organized throughout the year, creating a lively atmosphere on campus. Students are also encouraged to participate in community service through various initiatives. And The placement cell is active and regularly invites reputed companies for recruitment drives. While placements are good, with many students securing roles in companies across sectors, there is always room for improvement in terms of higher packages and more opportunities for students from diverse streams. My Overall Experience is that Sri Aurobindo College offers a balanced environment for academic growth and personal development. It’s a place where you can gain not only knowledge but also life experiences that shape you into a well-rounded individual.
